Lemons

BY ABBAS FEROZ

What have I learned from being alive?
Every day I must live, as every night I die

That there's no time to be timid
and some rules cannot be broken,
A man must stay rigid
That hands were meant to hold
and a man must build bridges
Life cannot be lackuster,
my vision should be vivid

This interplay of chance and time
being alive is a nonsensical rhyme
The juxtaposition of mind and heart
I've learned every moment of living is art
